A little heavier than other packs.
Removable lid/daypack doesn’t have a good waist belt.
Daypack moves around too much on back when scrambling.
You probably should get a high volume size (85L) if you are going to be packing a bear cannister.
The velcro torso length adjuster can be a little tricky to adjust.
The Osprey Atmos anti-gravity system is superior to the Aether.
No integrated rain cover.
Since the Aether is a little heavier, since it is designed to carry heavy loads, If you’re looking at the 60L version, there are probably better packs, like the Osprey Atmos, to look at.
